¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†Nina P. Christensen, O.D. received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, in 1994. She went on to receive a Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 1999 and completed two externship rotations at Providence Veterans Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and Sidney Hillman Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. ¬†She continued her training with a residency at Edith Nourse Veterans Memorial Hospital in ¬†Bedford, Massachusetts.
¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† Dr. Christensen provides comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, including specialty contact lenses. She has extensive experience in evaluation and management of cataracts, diabetes, glaucoma, infectious disease, and macular degeneration. In her free time, Dr. Christensen enjoys¬†doing crafts and spending time with her husband, also an optometrist, and two daughters.

Christensen, O.D., received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Iowa StateUniversity and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998.¬† He completed his post graduate residency in Primary and Advanced Care Optometry at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Illinois. ¬†His clinical experience includes externship rotations at the Lowell Veteran Administration Outpatient Clinic in Lowell, Massachusetts and at the Dayton Veteran Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. ¬†Dr. Christensen is board certified by the American Board of Optometry. ¬†He is also a member of the Wisconsin and American Optometric Associations. ¬†Dr. Christensen provides comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. ¬†He has extensive clinical experience in the evaluation and management of glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye disease, infectious disease, macular degeneration, cataracts, LASIK, strabismus and amblyopia. ¬†Outside the workplace, Dr. Christensen enjoys his time with his wife Nina, also an optometrist, and their children, Isabella and Olivia. ¬†He also enjoys sports activities such road and mountain biking.

Ellen Ringle, OD, MS received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science and graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2014. ¬†She received both a Doctorate of Optometry and Master‚Äôs Degree in Vision Science concurrently from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2018.¬† Dr. Ringle has completed clinical externships at the Portland VA Health System in Bend, OR, a surgical co-management and referral clinic in Denver, CO, and the Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs. ¬†These experiences have enabled her to evaluate and manage dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and binocular vision disorders, in addition to co-management of LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgeries. Dr. Ringle provides comprehensive eye exams and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. ¬†Her experience in research helps her stay up-to-date with the latest optometric research to best serve her patients‚Äô needs.¬†¬† In her free time she enjoys staying active with running, cycling, yoga, and tennis. ¬†Dr. Ringle grew up locally in Hubertus, WI and is enthusiastic about returning to the area to serve the community as an optometrist.
