Comprehensive Family Eye Care

Regardless of your age or physical health, it is important to have regular eye exams. During a complete and thorough eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but more importantly, will also check your eyes for eye diseases. This evaluation of your eyes can serve as an indicator of your overall health. Many times, it is through the evaluation of the eyes that many systemic/health conditions are diagnosed such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol. As for children, it is recommended that they have a baseline eye exam before age 5. Eye exams for children play an important role in ensuring normal visual development, and more importantly, vision is closely linked to the learning process. Our office offers comprehensive eye care for all members of your family.
